Connect Caregivers & Care-Seekers

DisabilityCareColorado.com fills the need of connecting those who wish to provide care and those needing care. One annual fee gives you access to an experienced pool of direct service providers and families, and lets you use the Medicaid PASA agency of your choice for funding—or opt to private-pay directly.

Please note, DisabilityCareColorado.com does not conduct in-depth interviews with providers, so we urge families to do their due diligence. If you’re billing through Medicaid, be sure to run a background check (a Medicaid requirement). If you’re paying privately, you can—and should—do your own background check, conduct thorough interviews, check references, and take the time to train your provider on any critical information.

About Navigating Disability Colorado

Navigating Disability Colorado was created by Maureen Welch, who personally understands the challenges caregivers face. She’s been through the complicated waiver application process and knows how hard it can be to access all the available service options.

Maureen realized that many Medicaid provider agencies (Program Approved Service Agencies – PASAs) don’t have enough respite workers ready to help. That’s why she built a place to connect caregivers and care-seekers: DisabilityCareColorado.com.

Check out Navigating Disability Colorado to join their online community of support and explore valuable programs and courses on applying for—and maximizing—Colorado Medicaid Waivers at NavigatingDisabilityCo.com.
